IPE deck - wood dust?

We recently had a IPE deck installed in an enclosed backyard. I noticed that the Contractor was sweeping some of the excess of wood dust between the wood planks at the end of each day. I recently discovered that the sawdust is carcinogenic. Should I be concerned that we will breathe in the dust?

   put on a good dusk mask and wash away all the dust and collect it and dispose it in a closed bag or bury it . when finished wash your hands.
2. no.leave it be.will be gone by this time next year
